12 facts about Chi and some of the things she will be writing about.

• I am female – I would probably write a lot about being female, my perspective as a female human being; it’s the longest experience I have plus the level of exposure and life experiences being female gives is enough to write a book, make a movie and a very juicy telenovela that has unending episodes. Plus, I like to talk about me anyway!

• I am black West African, born and raised in Nigeria – to be precise I am a light-skinned brown-black African lady with middle class background raised in a Christian home with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The stories from my childhood always bring fond memories especially when the family gathers to tell it now.

• I moved from Nigeria to Romania when I was 19 years old – this right here is one of the scariest things I have every done in my life. I would never stop wondering how I did that without going insane.
  

• I studied medicine in Romania – I studied medicine in Romania for 6 years and worked in Romania for one year so total of 7 years in Romania. This is probably the second most important time of my life. My time there gave me somethings that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
  

• I qualified as a medical doctor in 2015 and have been practicing medicine since then - qualifying and practicing medicine has been a fruitful and interesting journey that has been so worth it. I love that I have so much knowledge and still have a lot to learn.
  

• I moved to Ireland to practice medicine in 2017 – moving to Ireland has always been a dream for me ever since I visited in 2010. I fell in love with how quiet, neat and green it was.
  

• I love to travel – travelling, visiting new places, cultures and people is something I have always enjoyed. Seeing the world will always be on my to do list until it’s done

• I love trying new things, fun and adventure – at any given time I will always be interested in anything that could be fun or new. I have a long list of things I would love to learn, do and try. I feel like I can never run out of things to try, fun and adventure to have.

• I am an introverted extrovert – I am the literal embodiment of someone that needs a break from socializing and talking to people. Most of the time it does not mean that I am alone and bored, it means I am at home, watching a movie, crocheting, cooking, or doing anything that does not involve human interaction. A human being can be around when those activities are happening but not in a social capacity

• I am a planner and a doer – planning things brings me some sort of joy and inner peace. I sometimes don’t do everything I set out to do but just making that plan is so sweet. And when it comes to being a doer, I am not the textbook doer I am more of get up and do what needs to be done.

• I am married - I am married to a tall, dark and handsome Anambra state man. We are and have been in a long distance relationship and legally married since 2020. Marriage is a journey of two people, long distance journey is a journey of 2 people and internet!

• I am a mother - I am a new mother, gave birth to the most adorable little girl in May 2022 and my life has completely changed for the better. This new journey of mine is one I am so grateful I get to take.
